All School Reopen And BISP Student Verification 2024

BISP was launched by the government of Pakistan to provide financial assistance with the aim to alleviate poverty and hunger in the country and to make the lifestyle of our citizens better.

The program has now started doing surveys in government schools across the province Punjab to verify and register deserving students who need financial help from the government to pursue their education.

All School Reopens and BISP Student Verification:

PTI chairman Imran khan got arrested on 9^th may 2024, in an allegation of corruption in Al Qadir trust case. His arrest by rangers sparked massive violence countrywide, which led to the huge economic shutdown in the country as well as all educational institutes including schools across Punjab were closed in terms of security reasons.

Verification of students under the Benazir income support program:

Amongst all these critical political situations in the country, the verification process of students under BISP was taking place in government schools of Punjab. This process got hindered due to the closure of schools in Punjab for almost a week.

As the political situation in the country got better, the Education department on 12^th may had decided to re-open the schools on Saturday, 13^th may all across the Punjab. So, it was decided to resume the verification of students under Benazir income support program from the same day when schools reopen.

Requirements for BISP verification of students:

All schools reopened and student verification resumed under the Benazir income support program on May 13^th, some followings should be kept in mind.

1. If a woman is already receiving financial aid from BISP, must submit a signed copy of the B-form of his children by the school teacher to the center and hence a form is given to that woman.
2. The student must have an attendance more than 70 percent in school, the verification of the student’s attendance is done after every three months.

Final Verdict:

All school reopen and student verification hold an important status because it aims to continue the verification process of students under BISP when schools reopened on 13^th May which was stopped during the political crisis in the country.
